Pig Roast Catering and BBQs

We offer full on-site hog roasting of a whole roasted pig over a charcoal fired roaster- this is our biggest seller and most famous event attraction.  However if you prefer we can cook it at our site and bring the sliced pig onsite to serve your guests. We are a licensed roaster with the Minnesota department of health so you know you are getting a quality roast. 

Once the pig is fully cooked, we carve it out in the open for their guests to come watch as it is always a crowd favorite.  We love to put on a show and even give out “free” samples to the guests while they watch us carve!

With each pig roast we offer a full assortment of side dishes.  We allow customization of the menu, so you can pick your side dishes and even give us special recipes for us to prepare for them.

Side Dishes: Our most popular side dishes are potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, pasta salads, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, roasted sweet corn, garden salads, roasted vegetables, etc.  We offer many more as well!

What You Get: Our catering includes everything you need for the meal to be served- buffet tables, wire racks, utensils, buns, BBQ sauce, salt and pepper, napkins and plastic-ware.  A grill-master to roast the pig with one hour of serving time if you have use come to you. These are all included.

We also offer a more elegant buffet set-up for an additional $100.  And you can rent a full compliment of china, flatware, glassware and linens.  The great thing about having us provide this is that they don’t have to pick it up and return it and you don’t have to wash dishes! - we take care of all the hassle.

Pig Roasting Portions:

  • 120 pound pig feeds aprox 100 guests.

Roasting Time:

  • 70 lb Pig takes 5-6 hours to cook
  • 150 lb Pig takes 8-10 hours to cook

Roasting Options: 

  • We will show up in the middle of the night to start the roast if needed. We use charcoal not gas for the best flavors so we need to reload charcoal and monitor the roast every three hours. 
  • We can prepare the food at our location and drop it off at your event if the venue or park is not open or if you are looking for our lowest cost option.
